The Vandy game was the first time I seen thier speed actually dominate a team. But then again it was Vandy! They did get beat in the second half of the Vandy game....but I figure it's because they knew they had just won the division but you can bet Meyers and Strong are upset about it! They will crush Alabama just because Alabama isn't that great of an offence. I'm not so sure about going against Texas Tech or Texas or USC or Oklahoma... these guys love to pass and USC has a great defence!! The Gators defence isn't as good as it looks. They can't play zone at all and they only have one out standing lineman...Spikes. Double team him and you have very little pass rush. Not like 2006 when you had Moss and Harvey on each end and Siles in the middle. And thier seconary was unstopable... Reggie Nelson and Ryan had 13 intercetions between them for the year. We had Leak as our QB so you know it was the defence that did most of the work that year and defence wins games. Now the offence wins games for them. You have a good secondary now and getting better but still they are very young and they get away with a lotta mistakes. Give the quarterback some time from anyone of those teams and it's gonna be bad! Most the SEC vs SEC teams are head games between the 2 of them, more than anything else....! They know eachother inside out! Get outside that box and it could be dangerous. And this year I'd say all four of the teams I mentioned are far better than Ohio State was 2 years ago. But sure the setup is right for the Gators to make the big game. Beat Alabama and OK beat Tech and they should be in it...and if they do...my money no matter what will be on the Gators! Now if Donavon can make the finals this year..ha! You see Lucas quit the team? I hated seeing that cuz I went to Maryland games for years during the John Lucas era. Loved the guy! His kid wasn't that great but it was nice he came to Florida.
All I'm saying about this Steve Perry stuff is.... He should keep personal emails off the board. All it does is start a bunch of garbage!
