The best TV's on the planet are Sony's. The Samsung(we have a Samsung AND a Sony)is almost as good even though it is Korean made and is a bit less expensive.
Toshiba USED to be good but no longer is. As for Pioneer and Philipps.....don't do it.They are known more for stereos than TV.
