Hi Again Everyone,
Been a busy few days. To make a long story short.
Janice had a small setback two days ago & was put back on the ventilator.
She was checked out yesterday & lowered to minor support. This morning
she was again taken off the ventilator & is breathing on her own. Prior
to all of this her trac. was reduced in size so they could install the
speaking valve. this & other procedures is what I believe caused the setback.
NOW as of this morning & again this afternoon she had the speaking valve
installed tried out removed & again replaced into the trac. She can now
talk in limited amounts as of 6 pm.
All of her vital signs are again normal & hopefully will remain that way.
It is sure Great to know she can speak & accept knowing what has happened.
I will be there tomorrow helping with all the excercises she needs. Right
now we really have no idea what is next. Please keep those prayers coming!!
They have been a great help to her & ME.
