Why, are you buying into the chicken in every pot thing? There is little Obama didn't promise, for that matter the same holds true for McCain.
So lets put that all aside.
Let's forget that the Democrats have always been for big government and being notorious for tax and spend policies.

Let's put aside ALL the campaign smears. promises and rhetoric and look at what each candidate brought to the table
One was an American war hero with a long record in congress. The other a relatively inexperienced Senator with some questionable past (perhaps present) associations.

Though a life long Republican, I didn't make my choice based on party, race, campaign promises, speaking ability, or how well he studiesd for the debates.

Tell me, whom would you be more comfortable with sitting in the White House were we to experience another 9-11.

Yes, I hope WE DON'T live to regret it.
Meanwhile I'll sit back and see if he delivers only a fraction of what he promised.
He IS my president and I do support him as such but I'm not elevating him to the status of Messiah no just yet
