McCain (and Clinton for that matter) treated Obama with kid gloves. And anyone who paid attention knows GWB and the economy doomed him. He (McCain) was still up......right until the economy tanked in late September. I can point to numerous examples where McCain called off his surrogates.

Frankly, I resent what you are trying to do. It is this kind of thinking that we are supposed to be changing. Obama, Biden, McCain, and yes, dammit, Palin too are all honorable public servants who put it all out there. Just because I disagree with someone, does not mean I have to demean what they believe in, or paint them as "dangerous" or "extreme".
