thread is the poster trying to get people to pat them on the back or start an argument. Those are the only two logical outcomes from any political argument. No one is going to change their votes based on one other person's argument.

So my big question is...do all you political posters think that these posts are helping the chip community? There are probably obama chip collectors and mccain chip collectors, so you run the risk of offending one side or the other every time you open your virtual mouths.

Why post you political opinions here? I'm so tired and bored with mccain this and obama that. If I want to read this crap I'll go to a political forum. Or maybe I should go to a political forum to find and talk about chips?

This is certainly affecting my decision to continue my membership. I don't want to be part of a knitting circle...well maybe, but only if they stick to the topic of knitting or in this case chipping.

And before I get attacked, yes i can skip over the topics, and I always do, I'm just saying think about what you're doing to the club before you post. I come to this forum to get away from the rest of the world. This is a hobby for me. This is fun for me. Politics and listening to political rhetoric is not fun for me.
