I admit to being a staunch Republican and proud of it. I'm not playing the race card, I'm not looking at gender, age, or anything else.

I am also smart enough at my age to understand that talk is cheap.
Between both candidates and yes I include McCain what haven't they promised.

You should know by now little if any of those promises will be fulfilled.
True or not, I heard a news story today that Obama has already asked his people to try to scale back on a lot of what he has already promised to deliver.
So where does that leave me.

I can only look at the facts .

I'm looking at an John McCain an American Patriot with considerable experience

I'm also looking at Obama "the new kid on the block" and an elequent speaker however I'm not looking at what he proposes to deliver, THAT is all hogwash
What I am looking is at his past, his affiliations with many questionable people. I'm looking at his endorsements which include about every left wing group you can name and frankly it scares me.

I'm not putting MY hopes on campaign promises
