I'd like to think most people do too, but I also believe there are people whose idea of what is best for me and my country will destroy me and it.
"This time I'm going with Obama for the same reasons other well-known and well-respected Republicans are; those who have a mind of their own and don't look at a political party as if it's a religion..."
I vote ideology, not party. I'm a conservative. Voting for a somewhat liberal Republican fits my conservative ideology far better than voting for a radically extreme liberal Democrat ever could.
