is a 5000 plaque from The Casino Dragonara located in Malta.
The casino is still open:

Plaques measure a large 5" L x 3½" H x 1/8" thick (approximately). IMO, plaques are large, but on the thin side. Both sides are the same.
These plaques are obsolete for one of two reasons (or both). Either because the casino became part of the Groupe Lucien Barriere, or because the "Malta lira" was replaced by the euro in 01/01/08. At the time of currency conversion:
5000 Malta lira (obsolete currency) = $15,068.10 USD.
I only have two left. One has good foil on both sides - $19 shipped in the US. The other has one good side of foil, the other side not great, but not bad - $15 shipped. If you are interested, I will scan the plaques for your review.
First two emails gets 'em. Thanks.
