There are several reasons to think that this chip is not from Guadeloupe.

1) All the casinos in Guadeloupe used francs as the denomination, not dollars
2) All the casinos in Guadeloupe used jetons and plaques and not chips
3) There is evidence that the mob opened casinos in Jamaica, see info on the Hotel Montego on the Caribbean ChipGuide, and the style of chip and mold were common to what the mob run casinos in the Caribbean used
4) There is an Arawak Hotel also in Jamaica

So Scott I tend to agree with you that this chip could be from Jamaica and not Guadeloupe.
