I never believed it to be from the Arawak Hotel in Guadeloupe. I am not saying it isn't from that hotel, but I think there is much more information that says it isn't from that location.

For starters, all the old chips from the FWI(Guadeloupe and Martinique) are in the Francs denomination. The new chips are in the Euro denomination. I have never seen any other chip or jeton from these islands with the US $ sign on them. I have been to the casino in Gosier twice and it really wasn't part of the Arawak Hotel either time I was there.
