Its a little deflating when you show up to see only a few members share your same interests. What is the deal with promoting the hobby. I'd pay to go to most seminars. The idea that we are going to lure people in by baiting them with trinkets and free stuff is pitiful. There should be excitement in the air and people should be lined up around the corner to come in. Where is the promotion? Where is the youth? The club needs to reach out to new potential members of all ages. If we can promote the hobby the people will join the club and be hungry for information. The information is what will bring them in.
