I went to a seminar a few years ago about selling chips on eBay. They were giving out T-shirts. As soon as the instructor announced that the shirts were free, 90% of the attendees raced to the table and were knocking each other over, taking two or three shirts each. The instructor looked shocked and disgusted. I was so embarrassed, I just left.
