The last time I was in Vegas, I wasn't going to rent a car...however, I moved hotels and got a suite at Green Valley Ranch. Since this was off the strip, the night before my trip I decided to rent a car.

I rented from Payless Car Rental. The "average" sedan was $19 a day. The company has a lot right at the airport. When I got to the pick up, there was a BRAND NEW Chrysler 300c with a Hemi in front of the place. The lady at the counter said that car was close to $50 a day, however...since I already had a reservation and wasn't a "walk-in" I could upgrade to the 300c for an extra $10 a day.

Boy, was that well worth it! The car only had a few thousand miles. Leather seats, navigation system, the works. I was able to zip around town and take care of anything I needed to, since I had the navigation.

I have no idea if they are still around...but I had such a great experience with Payless.
