Your right, it is using a "broad brush" type statement. I should have said it seems the ones I have talked to on the blackjack, let it ride and three card poker tables where everyone is sitting shoulder to shoulder don't act like they care. The statements I quoted are the typical response I hear when the conversation turns to smoking. Evidently smokers lose more money than non-smokers because the casinos seem to be really worried about a smoking ban. Considering that the last posted numbers were something like a 20/80 ratio I think they should be worried about the 80% non smokers leaving the table which my wife and I do often even up to the point of leaving the casino to go to another casino that is not as smokey. I smoked for thirty three years and have been away from them for seventeen years. I can set and play regardless of the smoke but my wife cannot. It makes her physically ill. Your right I cannot speak for all smokers, just the ones we have been unfortunate to be at the tables with....
