Four of us were at Hilton on Saturday night around 6-8 p.m. for the excellent $9.99 seafood buffet and the casino floor was deserted, except for the poker room and Asian games room which were full.

After dinner, we went to Tropicana to see the final performance of "Piano Man" ... a delightful 9 p.m. show... and the casino floor was packed!

We'll see how the casino accountants portray their take for the next few months as we enter the winter season and continuing slow economy now that the smoking ban has been repealed for at least one year. I'm sure there will be additional reasons given for poor results.

What A.C. really needs is to allow SPORTS BETTING ... and that will solve all their ills! Maybe that will be the next casino big push on the State Legislature for 2009?
