Yes, I have stated several times before that I support MCain but unlike many I'm not doing it becasue I am racially motivated or because Sarah Palin looks good in a tight dress I just think he is the better man for the job.
If you think otherwise, it is certainly your right.
The unfortunate part here is that this election has become more of a popularity contest, a race issue a gender issue and everything else except what truly is important.
We aren't judging our candidates on the real issues but on who studied to give the right answers in their debates.
Tell me, do you honestly believe that all the minorities that are now signing up to vote for the first time are doing so becasue they will vote for McCain. Tell me that this is not racially motivated. It shouldn't be but it is.
I said in an earlier post that if Colin Powell ( who I would support in a minute) were running how many of these same minorities would vote Democrat?
Regardless of what is being said, I truly believe that a good deal of the vote will only go to Obama as backlash against Bush.
This country does need change but change of party in the White House may make no difference.
I look at congress being controlled by the Democrats for the last 2 years where has that gotten us.
Then I look a bit further back to 2004 and the whole Fannie Mae debacle and where it started....Well enough of my ranting. I just hope whoever wins will be the best for this country
