Some very valid questions were asked that still have not been answered.
1) What would the proposed Jr membership fee be?
2) What would the Junior membership offer that the regular membership does not
I think that the comments I heard by many of the members at the business meeting was that most of our members who have children either already have them signed us as full members or associate members. In order to create an additional "Class" of membership there needs to be some sort of benefit for those who qualify that differs from the current membership.
If that idea could be developed then it may sway more people to that idea.
Personally, I think younger members are very important to our club. However I believe we should be targeting more of the 16-25 year old range than the 1-5 year olds (But thats just a personal opinion).
All suggestions are good ones, whether or not they can be implimented effectively is another story.
