... but my whole point is that we as Americans should not be following McCain's way of thinking and slinging mud at each other just because things are no going in the direction some wish it should be going. The problem is that though it might only be mud now, what will it be when McCain is left out in the wilderness. You surely do not believe Palin will come to his rescue or even stand by his side, do you? She's got one thing in mind and one thing, only... and that's AK.

It's so obvious as to what she's looking for; especially if God forbid McCain has a relapse within the next two years (he's been in remission for 8 years now)... She'll then have the opportunity to be in the White house for 10 full years if the timing is right, and she's willing to stand by doing nothing while simply waiting; and we'll no longer be the county we were if we're going to fight on four fronts. Yes, four fronts.

Reread, what Powell said.

It's no longer a matter as to who's opinion is what, but it is a matter of us listening and reading with that open mind you speak of and not excluding in thought the parts you'd rather skip over.

The facts can not be any clearer than what they are right now.

I live in a part of the world that bleeds Republican, but to see the millions of dollars pouring into the Obama camp even this late in the game is still unbelievable for me to understand... and it's not only Palm Beach money, but Century Village money as well, and it's not because sons, daughters and grandchildren have come down to convince their parents and grandparents, but rather those parents and grandparents who have been thru times you and I have never seen, before, who do not want to go back to it their remaining time on Earth... and the backbone of Florida surely doesn't want to give up their fortune w/o a fight, because it is impossible for us to continue on the path we are now on. We must take that fork in the road, all togeher... and to ask to wait four years from now to decide who was right or wrong will be too late.

Please. Please reread what Powell has said.
