I saw Wayne Newton about 6 years ago and his voice was just awful. We were warned ahead of time that his backup band and orchestra are really loud to make up for his waining voice. However, it was kind of fun to see him work the room by walking around the lounge shaking the men's hands and kissing the women while singing.
