I consider your first two bullets to be very true: you should not vote for/against someone because of race AND you should be responsible enough to at least have a basic grasp of the issues before deciding who to vote for (so you DONT fall into the trap of voting for someone who "looks" like you).

For you to spin that in into trying to mean this....

"It's bad enough all these White folks are voting for Obama, and now we need to worry about the Blacks who are coming out of the woodwork"

Pretty shameful. If whites "came out of the woodwork" to vote AGAINST Obama, I'd be MORTIFIED.

Just as I am MORTIFIED that apparently less the 10% of the black vote went to Clinton in some of the primaries (Pennsylvania, off the top of my head). Say what you will, that is a very telling statistic. You can't get 9 out of 10 people to agree on the color of grass today. There is NO denying a very large chunk of Obama's support comes from people who support him BECAUSE he is black.

And until we acknowledge this, and stop tip-toeing around the underlying problem, we are ALL just kidding ourselves.
