I also understand completely your comments as well as the point that this is in fact NOT funny at all.
In fact it is pretty sad that ANYONE no matter what background they come from vote strictly based on Race, Gender, Relegion, or for that matter, strictly along party lines.
The fact of the matter is, even though I usually vote Republican because the party tends to sway towards my beliefs, McCain is not a true conservative. In my mind he already has a foot in the door of the Democratic party. Had a more qualified and less Liberal opponent been running, I may have even voted the other way.
Its a sad statement for America that we have so many people who will vote based not on policy or platform, but instead because of what they look like (And that applies to BOTH candidates).
Just my humble opinion.
