Michael I agree with your post
and it makes logical sense to me. I appreciate your honour in the service because it does mean a lot to me, personally. I just find in unfortunate because most people that I am in contact with on a daily basis do not even know what Democracy means. Government is corrupt, both ways of the fence...and I will be honest with you I think if you are going to vote, you are doing your civic tennant, of being an individual. My middle brother has been to Iraq and is going back in a few short months. It is just very demeaning when people do not know what Al Quaida really is. And the thing is, also, I look at both perspectives of the candidates because, up front with you, I do not have health insurance, my father owns his own business and my mother is really ill at the moment. Life to me, and hopefully others, all across the ticket/board I hope realize that politics aside, we have to live for each moment because we NEVER know when our last moment will be; in the "Land of the Free"
I am not trying to offend people, but I do see where you are coming from....and to a degree everybody is entitled to their opinion and at the end of the day, it's civil liberties that we aim for. We strive to be at a place in the world, and I respect your ability and attitude about military, government, etc. Thank you!! PS: Are you a historian>? That's what I am in college for; Archival Historian.. so it's been challenging, but rewarding. Thanks for the information and your service!
