According to the National Business Aviation Assoc. web site (http://web.nbaa.org/public/ops/airspace/notices/zla/20080904lasrnwycnstrcn.php) McCarran's primary runway, Runway 25L/07R will be closed for construction from November 1, 2008 through May 1, 2009.

The runway closure is expected to have a major impact on arrival and departures, since it is the primary runway for the airport and the longest one.

If you are visiting Vegas during this six month period, like I will be, expect delays and prepare accordingly.
