Your lighter was manufactured between 1955 & 1957.

Very Nice lighter.

It may have been from a ship I would have to research the crests of the Navy ships involved in Operation Deep Freeze.

It also may have been a lighter that anyone involved in the operation could get.
(Navy , Coast Guard , Air Force , Army)
