Got back home this afternoon from my "Farewell to the Fitz" Reno trip. Hoping to put up something more comprehensive when I get rested and get some chores out of the way. The short version: good trip! I did some new things and got to say goodby to my friends at Fitzgerald's Club. The farewell wasn't at all sad as the the folks at the Club were really surprised by the number of us patrons were showing up to support them in their time of bewilderment.

Something new that I did get done was my first Awfull Awfull Burger at the Nuggett right next door to the Fitz. Walked in there once but was kind of intimidated by the place and just left. Only $1 extra for the go box! Carted the thing up to my room and...oh my! This is a seriously big burger and it rests on a full pound of fries. One of the best hamburgers I've ever had and the fries are killer too. Actually enough weight for two meals or two people. Almost finished the burger and plowed through half the potatoes. I'm going to return for sure. AND... you get Lucky Catsup included!
