I'll second that Brenda!...
I remember dressing up for our first banquet only to be slightly shocked when a club member walked past in cut off jeans, t-shirt and flip flops. The saving grace was another club member walked past at the same time and casually said to the down-dressed member; "Hi xxxx, glad to see you dressed up for this" and kept walking. So say the least, dressed-down member looked confused and then embarrassed....I don't think it happened again
But yes, I agree with you Brenda, it is a "special event" and should be treated as such. No I'm not talking formal dress (although I always love Steffner in a tux), but "business casual" would be nice.
