The bars in Vegas went non smoking a couple years ago, if they served food.
Non food serving bars can still smoke.
These bars survive on slot revenue.

Bars that kept their food service and no smoking lost most of their business to the casinos. Some went out of business.

Many bars closed their food service and 100's of food servers lost their jobs.

The smoking bars can not serve food but the customers can call for outside food deliveries, catered meals, pizza, sandwiches, etc.
Since there was no profit in food at bars, they save $, they get to smoke, they get to eat, they have no food employee expense.
Does any of this make sense to anyone?

I am not advocating smoking or non smoking.
I don't remember the last time I was in a bar.
