Yes, I still have the first chip that I ever took home from a casino.
I'd just turned 21 and it was my first trip to Atlantic City. The Atlantis wasn't the first casino that we stopped at, but it was the only casino that I kept a chip from on that trip. You could play $5 blackjack way back then..even on the weekend!
I wish the question would have included a second part that asked what, exactly, was the first casino related item added to what would eventually become an actual collection.
If only I'd taken home a pocket full of these beautiful chips.........
