I moved to NJ out of college the summer of 1982. About a month later I made my first trip to the casinos in Atlantic City and brought home several (~10) chips from each of the casinos I walked into and played blackjack. While I don't know exactly which ones I came home with other than the Playboy $1 and $2.50, they were my first and are still in my collection.

1985 We went to the Bahamas and I brought home a chip.
1986 We went to Vegas for the first time and I brought home chips from Riviera, Frontier and probably a couple others.
