I remember visiting my first godson in Chicago in the late 70's. I was literally unable to bring any luggage, as all my Chi-Town friends insisted I bring LOTS of Coors beer (unable to get Coors in Chicago at the time). So I walked through the airport hand-carrying special "carry on" cases of Coors beer (24 cans of Coors beer in a special box that looked like a suitcase with a handle and "Coors" printed all over the sides), and yes, people offered to buy the beer on the spot in the airports!
