There are two topics that it is said will always cause trouble, politics and religion. Do you really think we would have the same number of hate emails and name calling if we were just discussing chips?

To me it seems that there are fewer unique posters to this board than there used to be. It would be interesting to see if Greg would have data on unique users and traffic for this year vs. last.

I do respect that you and everyone else has the right to post what ever they want within reason (no racial slurs, libel, etc.). I just believe that we would have less problems and have a better club if we had less bickering and more on topic discussion. I know first hand that people here can be helpful, are generally nice and enjoy the hobby but if I were coming into the hobby in the last six months I would not see it. What I would see is the name calling and the bickering and I know it would turn me off and make me think twice if I wanted to spend my time here.
