An Example
In Response To: Yes, and No...... ()

Of course, 1 sale does not establish a thing, but this is most definitely the trend I see. This California Club .25 is high on my wants list. It is listed as R-10 in James book, some must have been found, because since 2006, I have seen it up for sale about 4-5 times.

It is 300/450/600 in the guide. In 2006, I bid $175 on the chip and was outbid at the very end, I think it went for $177 or something like that. I bid on it again late in 2007, and dropped out at $200, it went for something like $225. On this one, I set my sniper program for $225 and I was not even close. It went for $330.

This is very common, when it comes to the chips I track/desire (old Vegas $1 and $5's, my daughter LOVES HS chips and this is one of her faves, and I am a SUCKER for her!!!!). I am trying to pick up these chips at 2006 prices, and I am not even in the running most of the times.
Even when I try to modify the upper end of what i am willing to bid, I am finding that with a very high frequency, I am still not getting there.
