If Republicans were involved in this you can be sure they would have been named and hauled up in front of some Legislative Committiee with (Dem) members demanding answers to the people who were hurt by this, very much like Ken Ley et al/Enron and the "Big Oil" barons. The Democrates are to blame for this mess because it was on their watch that this all was allowed and they all know it. They had control of all the oversight committees and through their majority passed the legislation facilitating this collapse. Thats why they want it fixed so quickly and hope it goes away before election.
