That is a totaly assinine statement in this day and age.
How many catholics belong to an organization that are trying to destroy our way of life.
(I am fully aware not all Muslims belong to those organizations)
IMO, the American people would have great fear and be bigoted against any Muslim running for president of the USA, today.

Name one Muslim they wouldn't feel that way about.

That said:
I have never been bigoted against any race, religion, etc but I do not want a Muslim as my president today, maybe 48 years from now but not TODAY!
I am not Catholic nor a reglious person, but I voted for Kennedy.
