I found it hard to believe that a nationally syndicated cartoonist would risk offending half of his readership, That plus the type in the last speech baloon didn't look quite the same as in the other panels. Here, before being "doctored", is the original Wizard of Id cartoon of 9-1-2004. Thus we see that the sentiments weren't those of the cartoonist.
