I shouldnt be respopnding to club business on this board I feel obligated to do so because of your completely unfounded accusations.

1) You have been a member for just one year (Not many like you have suggested) and as Steve pointed out, your not even a member right now. That doesnt mean you dont have the right to say what you want, but please dont give the false impression that you are a longtime member in good standing.

2)You mentioned that you dont see anyone posting about what happened to the previous Convention Co-Chairs. In fact many posts were made on the subject just after the convention. A statement was even made by our President Wayne Thompson stating that what happened was a private matter and if Mike would like to talk about it publicly, he is welcome to do so.

3) You mentioned that you heard it from a member, who heard it from another member. Ever hear of the game telephone line? If your hearing something 3rd or 4th hand dont you think it may be questionable?

4) You demand to know answers, but cant even mention the names of the people who supposedly told you things. Dont people have the right to face their accusers? If your throwing false statements at me by telling me that the BOD is abusing their power and is ready to backstab people, shouldnt I be entitled to know who is accusing me of such things?

5) You want to relieve me of my duties? Gee, I dont know if I could handle spending my weekends with my family again, Not working nights to balance the books, not giving up going to a ballgame because my financials for the magazine is due, worrying about paying invoices, expense reports, and trying to keep everyone happy by moving the club in the right direction.

And what does the BOD get for all this?..... Well I get a really fancy looking ribbon on my badge, I get to be pounded on by posters on just about every decision that is made, I get accused falsely by people of doing things that they have absolutely no knowlege about.

So I am not sure of the purpose of your post, or is there was really any purpose at all other than to say you are dis-satasfied with the club officials. If you were a member, I would suggest you either run for office or vote for a candidate you feel would be better suited for the job.

If there is something specific I can answer for you, please feel free to email me or post a question on the club board where is is sure to be read by all the Club Officers.

I am sorry to hear you feel the way you do, and I wish there was a way to change that.
