There is a big difference between actually suing and having merit to sue.

Right now, Wellington is suing because they say that Mulvane did not annex the land correctly.

Prairie Band Casino north of Topeka is suing Harrah's saying they can't build in Mulvane because of a non-compete clause they signed with PB. A judge has ruled that Harrah's can't use their customer list to promote the casino until after the non-compete clause expires, but they still need to work out the details to the satisfaction of PB or they must go to court.

That is two suits already, I suspect there may be more. Too much money involved for all sorts of people to not try and get a little bit.
