We have a couple of 1955 newspapers that are special editions, celebrating Las Vegas's 50th birthday. We'd been out of town, and when we got home George beat me to the computer so I was browsing through those papers (researching for an article ). Anyway, they did reprints of some of the older articles, pictures, etc., and one of the pictures was from a parade in the 1920's...with a comment that Las Vegas loves to have parades.
