It is an actual chip ordered by the Casino. I am not sure if they were ever put into play at the Casino, but I do know there are many thousands in the hands of collectors, mainly those who collect playable sets. $100, $500, $1000 and $5000 chips from the same series are also available in large quantities. They were sold by Nevada Jacks about a year or 2 ago. I have 200 x these $25 chips, 100 in new condition, and 100 in slightly used to average condition but I am not sure if it is from Casino or home game use.
