Re: Interesting you should mention that Dwain.
Hi Doug - I'm Really not sure which one is yet - But also being a Vet - ( Nam ) - at age 17 - I had a freind who was fighting for the South Veitamees - he was also 17 - and I remember what he said to me then - "He said they were at war when he was born and would most likely die in war - But that is their way of life "- He did not make it to age 20 - Now that I am 62 I can still hear his words - War against Drugs and war against Terrerisiom are catch words - War seems to be a way of life in Iraq and other countries over there - they really do not put much value on life - WE DO in the U.S. - The sneek attack on Pearl Harbor can also be classified as a Terrorist attack now days - in order to fight terrorisim we would have to give up alot of our freedoms here - ( lessons to be learned from that)- like carry ID papers to cross state lines - Lock down Borders and Ect. - and like WWII send some citizens to camps ( just incase they were spys) - We don't have a Draft to train new soilders - It seems to me that we are fighting for Oil and Relious differences ( Theirs vs. ours )- I DO BACK OUR TROOPS but we still have not caught the leader of the group for 9/11 - I don't think that war is the answer in this case - when we are falling apart in this country - I also take a look at their running mates - and I do believe a women can be one - but not with just 1 1/2 years as governor with no Foreign experience - She would have to lead this country if something should happen to McCain if he was President - I will most likely make up my mind when I pull the leaver ( Vote)- I do know that McCain Voted most of the time with Bush's line of thinking ( right or wrong ) - I have seen and felt what has happened in the last few years on some of bush's decisions which has not Helped this country or it's people - If we keep this pace up we could end up a 3rd world country ourselves ( I hope not )The most important thing is TO VOTE:
