I purchased a chip on ebay and the shipping cost indicated was 8.00 for one chip. When I questioned the seller on the shipping costs, I was told that they only ship priority. I asked for first class shipping and they reduced the price to 5.00. I wouldn't mind spending 5.00 or even 8.00 on an expensive chip but this was not an expensive chip. I did make the purchase and I was the only bidder. I think the shipping costs kept some buyers away but I wanted the chip and I paid the 5.00 shipping for first class mail. I agree that on ebay, or should I say feebay, the shipping cost are higher because of the ridiculous fees and ebay doesn't charge the fees on the shipping costs, so it's the sellers advantage to cover their fees in the shipping costs on a low priced item that will not bid up high.
