If I'm correct, a downturn in the economy is indicated by three consecutive quarters of negative growth.
That happened during the end of the Clinton administration.
There is no question that things have snowballed since then but we were already on the path to this.
Call it blaming the previous administration if you so wish. Say it was eight years ago and i'll have to agree nevertheless fact. True the war has some to do with it, so does the cost of oil.
Sad to say, regardless of who wins the election, there is no quick fix t othe nations problems
