Atlantis will be a very hard act to follow !

I don't think there's a more kid friendly place on the face of the earth. The same can be said about the Atlantis for teenagers and adults. However, these statements would not be as true during hurricaines. Bahamas, and most of the Caribbean, should be off limits this time of year.

An important piece of information needed to direct you better is the ages of your grandkids. Are they 4 or 14 or 24?

In my opinion, organized and staffed programs designed to keep the kids entertained.

I know a few years back, La Cabana had quite a few kids programs including arts and crafts, water games etc. Besides keeping the kids entertained during the warm, sunny daytime hours, evening activities are also important. Look for a place that has nighttime things for kids as well. Many show kid appropriate movies movies or interactive shows. Some with game rooms also have organized video game, air hockey, billards competitions for kids with prizes.
