If you see in your picture the McDonald's Arch. That is where the road use trough go thru between Harrah's and Casino Royale. The Travel Lodge looks like it was where that Arch is. Which means sometime between the Arch and the Travel Lodge was a road. In your picture you can see the current motel which is behind the building, not on the side like in the old photo. Hope I'm making sense.
