In another thread here, on the same subject, a link was posted to a site for alcohol decanter bottle collectors (Beam, Brooks, etc.). When visiting the site, it was very plainly stated (and as a WARNING) to NOT collect full bottles. It does not enhance value and in fact, will deteriorate the cork and the interior of the bottle. The booze will NOT age and in fact will spoil.

Lastly, there are practical problems with full decanters, like weight, shipping and being a fire hazard or a potential issue with minors.
