The last time I was at this casino was on Wednesday, 8-27-08, early in the afternoon. I stopped by the cashiers cage to buy a set or two of the new $5 "Rack Pack" chips. These are regular play chips, and a set consists of 5 different chips. The casino wasn't crowded at this time, and I was the ONLY customer at the cashiers cage the ENTIRE time I was there. When I asked to purchase some of these new chips the lady I talked to was glad to help me, however, some guy (let's call him Mr. go spend your money somewhere else) sitting behind the two ladies working the cashier windows, yelled out "No". He (let's now call him Mr. rude to customers) said that they could not look through the chips for specific girl chips, to make a set, but could sell the chips. Fine. I told the ever pleasant cashier that I would like to purchase 100 of these chips, without sorting or looking through them. She was starting to pull out all these chips, when this same guy (let's now call him Mr. dip$hit, to be kind) said that they could only legally sell me 5 chips. Huh?, what law would that be, I enquired. I got no answer to that question other than: "5 chips, take it or leave it". As soon as I had them, I told the cashier that she had my sympathy for having to work with Mr. dip$hit, and that it was very rare for me to leave the cashiers cage without tipping. She should look to Mr. dip$hit for her tip.
Of course, if I would have been able to purchase 100 of these chips, I would have returned to Hooters the next day to cash in some of them. I still collect chips from this casino, but I'll never gamble there. The MGM, across the street from Hooters, got my money that day.
