pretty much has to be the same era as Eric's book, unless the phone numbers shown on the matchbook were different than the phone numbers listed in the phone books.

I know the El Rancho used those phone numbers in 1955. They could have used them in 1953 and/or 1954, also. That's it...according to the phone books.
