Here we know we are going to have bad storms and build accordingly. All nails (and I am talking NAILS--not tacks) used in siding or on roofs are stainless, for instance. It would seem to me that when you are in an area prone to bad weather you would have building codes that would make buildings safe. I don't get it, I guess. I really feel bad for all those people having to evacuate for every storm every year. It must be such a hardship, and then some come home to find they don't have a home left. How terrible! I just can't imagine....
