The L.V. Review/Journal reports that Sands, Inc. has taken the position that the company will not pay the judgment obtained by Richard Suen last spring with interest in excess of $58 million (a Clark County jury found that Suen was owed that sum for his work getting the Sands company a Macau license. No real explanation. But a judgment is a judgment and liens can be obtained on the debtor's property...so absent a successful appeal it is not clear what the Sands expects to do to avoid payment.
